The AQSG Triad was a body initially formed with the idea of three heads being better then one and was to be the ultimate decision making body within the AQSG sim group. It remained in existence until February 8th, 2006.
Admiral Michael Hunt; Stepped down from his position to take an extended LOA and at that time gave up his duties as AQSG Webmaster. He has since returned to take command of the AQSG's 1st Fleet.
Admiral Obi Mendahar; Due to personal time constraints he has stepped down from all of his positions within the AQSG which included command of the 5th Fleet and the Academy.
Fleet Admiral Ryan Harper; Continues to serve in his position as CO of the AQSG as well as the group's 3rd Fleet and the USS Patriot, the AQSG's oldest simulation. He is currently the highest ranking active officer, via time-in-grade and is the CO of AQSG and oversees all functions of the group.
The original Triad members remain in the AQSG today as the traditional founding body more then anything else. While only one member of the original Triad continues to perform all of their previous duties, the original TRIAD rank and honors bestowed remain permanently theirs as a reward and special tribute to their hard work and dedication to this group during the beginning years of the AQSG and the work so performed by these three officers.
For their years of dedication, these original TRIAD Admirals have been bestowed a special PIP insignia, where their board is red and off-white in color with their highest rank achieved.
